Dekha palat k us ne k hasrat usay bhi thi
Hum jis par mit gaye thay muhabat usay b thi,

Chup ho gaya tha dekh kr wo bhi idher udher
Duniya se meri tarha shikayat usay b thi,

Ye soch kr andheray galay se laga liye
Raaton ko jaagnay ki aadat usay b thi,

Wo ro dia tha mujko pareshan dekh kr
Us din hala'n k meri zaroorat usay b thi,

Un patharon k sath nibhani pari usay
Jin se faqat muje nhi nafrat usay bhi thi.
